Embark on a journey to restore a crumbling world by exploring diverse biomes, mastering six tech trees, and rebuilding fallen cities. Good Heavens! invites you to craft and build with up to eight players online or solo.

About this game

Welcome to Xant-Rar, Chosen One!

The Mighty Rar left behind a strange world of floating islands, fragile cities, dangerous ruins, disappointed citizens, and more unfinished business than any Chosen One should reasonably inherit.

In Good Heavens!, you will explore procedural islands, fight bizarre threats, build a place of your own, and help the lands of Xant-Rar become slightly less broken than before.

Probably...

Adventure Together

Play solo or team up with up to 8 players online as you explore, build, fight, and recover from Rar’s latest mistakes together.

Whether you divide tasks across your group or roam side by side, co-op is built around shared progression, shared exploration, and shared chaos

Raise Cities from Rubble

Across Xant-Rar, struggling settlements can grow into thriving cities.

Accept quests, fix local troubles, deal with angry or disappointed citizens, and help communities recover from the mess Rar left behind.

As cities flourish, new opportunities open up. Meet strange inhabitants, unlock more of each settlement, access new city services, and become the savior these people were probably hoping would arrive a few Chosen Ones ago.

Build a Home Worth Returning To

Start small, gather resources, and turn the wilderness into a home of your own.

Expand your base, arrange your workshops, set up farms, decorate your space, improve your equipment, and build the kind of settlement a true Chosen One deserves.

Whether you care about cozy layouts, practical crafting spaces, farming, decoration, or chaotic co-op construction, Good Heavens! gives you room to build at your own pace.

Shape Your Build Through Six Tech Trees

Good Heavens! lets you grow through six tech trees instead of locking you into one fixed class.

The three combat-focused trees are:

  • Warfare - light weapons, heavy weapons, armor, and direct combat power

  • Trickery - daggers, bows, mobility, and precision-based combat

  • Sorcery - fire, ice, electricity, and magical specialization

The three world-focused trees are:

  • Homesteading - farming, irrigation, cooking, carpentry, and home progression

  • Exploration - smelting, fishing, wayfaring, foraging, traversal, and world tools

  • Influence - weaving, gem crafting, brewing, and upgrades that expand your gear and stats

Fight, farm, fish, gather, craft, build, and explore to grow in the direction that fits how you want to play.

Craft, Process, and Keep Growing

Gather materials, process resources, craft better gear, and expand your capabilities as you push farther into Xant-Rar.

From simple tools to more advanced setups, your progression is tied to what you discover, build, unlock, and bring back home.

Smelt resources, cook meals, craft equipment, prepare supplies, improve your base, and keep expanding what you and your settlement can do.

Discover Strange Biomes, Creatures, and Bosses

Every island brings its own mix of monsters, cultures, resources, and local disasters.

Push into dungeons, fight strange creatures, face candy-obsessed trolls, and prepare for bosses like Mountain King, a greedy troll who turned Rar’s enormous fork and knife into actual weapons.

Survival With Room to Breathe

Good Heavens! is built for players who enjoy discovery, building, and RPG progression without constantly babysitting meters.

Food strengthens your stats instead of acting as a death timer, giving you more freedom to explore, build, craft, fish, farm, cook, fight, decorate, and experiment.

Survival matters, but it does not constantly interrupt the adventure.

What You Can Do in Good Heavens!

  • Explore procedural floating islands

  • Play solo or online with up to 8 players

  • Raise cities from rubble

  • Build and decorate your own home

  • Progress through six tech trees

  • Farm, cook, fish, smelt, forage, craft, and prepare

  • Travel between islands with your own spaceship

  • Discover dungeons, strange creatures, bosses, and local disasters

Xant-Rar may be broken, chaotic, and full of bad ideas.

But that does make it a pretty good place for an adventure.

    Devlog#15 - Demo Update

Good Heavens! Chosen Ones, We already mentioned we partnered up with 2P Games for the Asian publishing of Good Heavens! This demo build we released today wasn't planned, but we wanted to show that we have already implemented the Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese versions. Hopefully, we will be able to have other languages in the game during Early Access as well. WAYPOINTS Travelling long distances is easier than ever in Xant-Rar. Now you can unlock Waypoints from your tech tree and build a waypoint in your base and one in the cities you have managed to upgrade to level 3.Until you build your waypoints, you can still use scrolls (although they're still a bit buggy, we're working on them). We also developed a fast travel system to be used in the main game. LOOT SYSTEM Inspired by some ARPG games, we are working towards a new loot system in the game that affects almost any activity in Good Heavens!, from killing monsters to fishing, mining, and solving puzzles. The rare drops will be available at the start of Early Access, and they are making repetitive actions much more fun.We are also introducing a Luck / Magic Find stat for the player along with this new system. SORCERY & TRICKERY UPDATE We are making changes to the Sorcery & Trickery trees. Tier 2 weapons and abilities are very interesting, to say the least. Spellbooks for each element are quite powerful, with long cooldowns. On the other hand, Trickery will receive traps and turrets. Every combat tree had a signature ability in its chest slots. Sorcery had Mana Shield, Warfare had Fortify Armor, and now Trickery has the dash-backwards ability coming with the Leather Brigandine. This allows you to kite enemies easily and also have a slight bonus while travelling long distances. NEW CONTENT Most of the new content is being prepared for Early Access. We have the updated Drylands (2nd biome) content, updated boss fights, and multi-floor dungeons in which you can find zombie enemies, new puzzles, an...

Good Heavens! — Early Access, September 16

Good Heavens! — Early Access, September 16Good Heavens! hits Early Access on September 16.Bring up to 7 friends. The world is hostile, the resources are contested, and the base won't build itself. You'll split up, argue about who's clearing the dungeon and who's hauling stone, and find out whose faction alliance was the wrong call when the boons kick in. Everything works solo, but the chaos is designed around a group: shared settlements, shared consequences, shared blame.Early Access includes the full crafting and base-building loop, dungeons, combat, and the opening act of the story, with more to come. Round up your friends, mark the 16th, and we'll see you on the other side.

    Next Fest Demo Patch

Next Fest started great for us. We are having a blast watching you play the demo and looking at the current amount of players. (200 people are playing right now!) We made a hotfix on Tuesday solving some critical bugs and we planned a balance update for today after taking notes about how you played the game. Thankfully Steam Achievements are helping us track some numbers as well. PS: You guys killed 10,000 monsters already since Monday. We also realized that most of you are not aware of item abilities which is at the very core of combat. We will create a tutorial for that but since then, just use right click when attacking sometimes. We have some surprises. Ok let me share what we changed and what we fixed with this 0.6.5 Version of the demo New (Mini) Features and content: - Abilities show a tooltip when you hover with your mouse on them - Status effects show a tooltip when you hover on the status effect icon - VFX for some building effects have been added - New SFX and volume adjustments - New Voice-overs for mumbling NPCs - Music added to intro animation - New music track for dungeons - Text changes for dialogues and quests - Improved quest tracking for some quests. Balance Changes: - Light melee weapon and heavy melee weapon recovery times have been reduced - The right click ability of wooden club has been changed - Removed mana regen from grass gambeson - Removed Tier 2 techs from the demo - Removed quality requirements from resource Points of Interests - Reduced blue essence gain from item crafting Bug Fixes: - Fixed a bug cancelling the combo attack of melee weapons. - Fixed a bug causing lights to work inconsistently - Fix the map on the city boons UI - Fixed a bug causing duplicate quest entries on the journal You know what to do, you will try to break the game and we will fix, that's the game we're playing with you. Join our discord to talk about your experience. Have a nice next fest !

Laughter Beyond Language! Chinese Version and Localization Plans Incoming

We are the developers of Good Heavens! from Istanbul, Turkey. With the support of our new publisher, 2P Games, we are excited to bring the game to players in Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese soon.Turkey has always been a meeting point between East and West, and as Turkish developers, we deeply value cultural exchange. Good Heavens! is a comedy game, and we know that humor can be one of the hardest things to carry across languages and cultures. Some jokes may land differently than we intended, and some may need extra care in localization. Please know that our goal is simple: to create a joyful, welcoming game that makes players smile. We respect our players, and we want Chinese players to feel at home in the world of Good Heavens! Our biggest hope is that, even if we come from different places and speak different languages, we can still meet each other through laughter, kindness, and play.
