About this game
The Cold is Just the Beginning.
A scientific expedition to the desolate Zhokhov Island is completely disrupted while abnormal magnetic anomalies occur. Among the team is Anna, a young geophysicist with a clouded past and a sharp mind. When disaster strikes and the crew becomes trapped in a long-forgotten Soviet military base beneath the permafrost, Anna must fight to survive and uncover the truth hidden beneath the ice.
But something else is buried here.
As she searches for a way out, Anna is haunted by surreal visions, grotesque figures, and distorted echoes of a twisted past. The deeper she goes, the more she feels drawn to this place, as if it strangely welcomes her back.
The cold may be deadly, but what lies beneath is far more chilling.

Inspired by genre classics like Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Rule of Rose and Haunting Ground, this is a slow-burning, symbol-rich experience where every shadow matters and every step forward reveals more than it should.
Evade or confront, your choice. Combat is tense, creatures are unforgiving, and often best avoided entirely.

🎙️Big Updates: English Voices and New Languages!
❄️⛏️ Kriophobia has gained voices, comrades! ❄️⛏️We are happy to announce that Kriophobia has received an update with Original Voices in English. The Brazilian Portuguese version is in production and on its way.We know how much the acting and dubbing of real voice actors make a difference in your experience, and that is why we are thrilled to make this public. We wanted to have this feature since launch, but that was not possible. But still, it's finally here!This update will also bring important new features such as Localization for Chinese and Spanish, with Revisions to Russian texts throughout the game.We want to thank our partners at Radioativa Game Sounds and the voice actors who did a great job bringing more life to the characters of Kriophobia. At the end of this post, check out the names of the actors who voiced the main characters in the game.We also want to thank the localization teams, especially Georgiy Meshkov, who volunteered to contribute to the Russian corrections, and Prajna Zhuge and team for the community translation into Simplified Chinese. The update will also bring several fixes and improvements, including general optimization improvements to enhance performance and stability.
