Guide your tiny traveller through the mysteries of the cosmos in Solaro. This indie adventure, crafted by 3body Games for release in 2026, invites you to solve cryptic challenges across a vast, ancient galaxy.
About this game

You’ve woken up in an alien world, with your memory wiped clean. Set out to recover fragments of your past and chart a path home.

To travel this realm, you must learn its language. Explore a living galaxy, with wild nature, ancient relics, curious nomads, and a talking star. Harness the features of your environment, using orbital motion, atmospheric pressure, and the forces of the cosmos to propel yourself into the unknown. Learn new skills through open-ended exploration: Can you travel quickly from one planet to another? Can you reach targets under the ocean? Can you survive without starlight?

A network of “orbital puzzles” stretches across distant locations on your path. Decipher their cryptic rules to access new, undiscovered worlds.
The way is blocked by the forces of an extreme and hostile cosmos: solar storms, plasma rays, asteroid waves, giant lasers... Think fast, and use your energy wisely.

With physics-based mechanics, atmospheric design, and an abstract 2.5-D style, Solaro offers an alternate take on space exploration. Created by a solo developer, the game features over a hundred puzzles and challenges, hundreds of hand-drawn illustrations and custom sounds, unique collectibles, and an original score that narrates your journey.

Progress Update
A few announcements as I get closer to setting Solaro's launch date... Last month Solaro got QA testing from Lollipop Robot team in Spain! QA (Quality Assurance) is the last stage of playtesting that improves the overall quality of the gameplay and robustness of the software. Lollipop did a really great job and helped identify some areas for improvement in Solaro's challenge level and learning curve. A few bugs were also uncovered- but nothing too bad! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43254391/bbd20cc31e410bd7c512585c3f19b5045ff5cfca.png Lots of progress has been made putting the final touches on Solaro's graphic images on Steam, as well as on the soundtrack mixing and mastering. This week I will release an update to Solaro's demo on Steam! v1.0.1 will fix a number of minor bugs in the demo, and contain the latest visuals, music, and sounds! Stay tuned... Thanks to everyone who has checked out my site and supported me in my shop and donations page! Your support means a lot, and will help me cover the expenses of Solaro's upcoming launch. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43254391/4b782833cf86967324c9b09d9db3a862881d8d6b.png More news on the way!Read full article on Community Announcements (3body Games)
