Tunguska on Xbox!

Tunguska: The Visitation is now available on Xbox! Available for both Xbox One and X|S series, it includes the main game, Ravenwood Stories, Shadowmaster, New Game+, and Slaughterhouse mode. Visit the Xbox website and search for "tunguska" to check it out!
About the Game
Radioactive anomalies. Rabid mutants. Cursed treasures. You step into the Zone with a pistol, a flashlight, and a roll of bandages. Hunt and scavenge, or get lost to the Zone.
COMBAT & STEALTH
Choose from an arsenal of Soviet-era firearms and melee weapons. Go in guns blazing, set ambushes, sneak through shadows, distract enemies. The Zone rewards cunning as much as courage.
SURVIVAL & STRATEGY
Manage food, medicine, radiation, infection, and your trusty backpack. Use careful planning, stealth, or brute force—your approach matters.
CRAFTING & GHOUL HUNTING
Harvest herbs, hunt animals, gather mutants’ body parts. Brew serums, cook food, upgrade weapons, repair gears. The Zone is perilous — but also full of riches for the cunning.
EXPLORATION & LORE
Ravaged villages, toxic swamps, abandoned Soviet bunkers—each environment holds clues, journals, side-quests, and mysteries born of the 1908 Tunguska Event. Uncover the hidden stories at your own pace.
Inspired by the novel Roadside Picnic, Tunguska is one man's vision and creation of a new post-Visitation zone: a place not just full of horror and danger, but also the freedom and opportunities sought after by many near the fall of the USSR.

Free Autumn Event Now! + Tunguska 2 Dev Update
Free Autumn EventHello Ghoul Hunters! After two weeks of triple digit weather (37C+), things are finally starting to cool down - which means it's time for our annual Autumn Event - Ghost of Valentine! This event will run from September 1 to December 1.Head to Zernaskaya church next to the barn and you'll find three talon rocks. Every seven days in-game, the portal will open for you to visit DOOWNEVAR to face the evil spirit. Good luck! Also don't forget to put on your scariest helmet and trick-or-treat with folks who have put up their Halloween decorations!Tunguska Coming to PS5 & Switch! Also, I'm excited to announce that Tunguska: The Visitation is coming to PS5 and Nintendo Switch! It's currently going through certification with PS5 and hopefully will release in about a month, and Switch certification will follow. Tunguska 2: Whitefall Dev UpdateJust yesterday I have finished writing the dialogues and basic draft of quests for the demo! After three months of work I can finally breathe a sigh of relief, because writing the story has always been the biggest challenge for me. I even had to take a long break during development of Tunguska: The Visitation because I was stuck with the dreaded writer's block, until two years later when I found the inspiration to continue. I'm very happy now that for the sequel, I have also overcome the writer's block and found a coherent story arc for the whole game. And today I began working on the new UI. I'll use 3D modelling software to create the exact appearance of all the bells and whistles to my liking, and then render them into nice looking images and import into the game's UI as 2D sprites. It's the same workflow as Tunguska 1. I'll update you again as soon as I manage to make some pretty renders!Read full article on Community Announcements (Rotorist)Patch NotesOfficial
Update 1.97-9 Patch Notes
- Fixed several French translation errors in the UI (Thanks to Gex!) - Fixed a few scripting bug in the Ravenwood quests - Added a cheat code to remove stale to-do list tasks: "task complete #". This # is a number which is the ID for the task, specified in the database. - All seasonal events will be automatically turned on based on system date. Winter: Dec 12 - Feb 12 Spring: Mar 13 - Apr 27 Summer: May 20 - Aug 15 Autumn: Sep 1 - Dec 1 The seasonal event date matters to the date when you start a new game. So as long as you start a new game before the beginning or the end of an event, you'll be able to play the content of this event indefinitely until you start a new playthrough.Read full article on Community Announcements (Rotorist)Patch NotesOfficial
Tunguska 2: Whitefall Dev Update
Hello Ghoul Hunters! It’s been a while since my last update - hope you’re all still enjoying the summer! This past month I put on my writer’s hat and focused almost entirely on story. I’ve finished dialogues for the 11 essential characters added so far, along with detailed scripts for roughly 20 quests. That’s only about half of what I planned for the demo… which feels a little ambitious, I know. But I believe every one of them is necessary to deliver a proper, satisfying Act 1 - complete with a strong opening and a real sense of closure, even in a demo.Story Sneak PeekSpeaking of the story, here’s a little more background from recent developments: after a particular event (known as the "Singularity") during Tunguska 1’s timeline, the Zone was no longer the same. The once-profitable serums became nearly useless outside the Zone, and the ingredients also grew scarce. Overnight, most Ghoul Hunters lost their businesses and were forced to find new ways to survive in the Zone. You play as a villager living just outside the Zone. Your entire village - your family - is suffering from a sickness caused by the Singularity. The only thing that keeps the symptoms in check is the serums, but they are growing weaker and more expensive by the day. With time running out, you make the decision to enter the Zone yourself, searching for a real cure - for your family, and for you - before the sickness finally takes hold.If you are interested in more lore and background story from Tunguska 2, make sure to sign up for the official email list - you'll receive a by-weekly immersive story nugget that gradually piece together a prelude that leads to the beginning of Tunguska 2's events. Future MilestonesI'll probably spend a couple more weeks writing the rest of the demo's dialogues, and then back to coding some mechanics to support these quests, and populating the maps with quest objects, non-essential NPCs, and more accent items. And then I still need to make the new UI, a bigger skills sy...Read full article on Community Announcements (Rotorist)AnnouncementsOfficial
Happy Summer!
Hello Ghoul Hunters!Happy summer! We are gonna revisit our little tradition every since 2023 - a summer "Labor Day BBQ" celebration hosted by the American tourists in Ravenwood! If it's event is new to you: while in-game, it'll start on the 10th day and run for 5 days. Then it'll come back again after 10 more days. You pay 500 rubles to eat for 24 hours, but you must bring raw meats to the fridge to keep the cooked meats coming! Also, I'll be away for about 2.5 weeks, since I haven't taken my family on a trip for... 10 years, the exact time it took to develop Tunguska: The Visitation till this day. But I guess 10 years of inventory management training does pay off ːsteamhappyːI'll be checking the forum as often as I can while away, so if you have any question/issues to report, please feel free to post and I'll address them to my best ability. Hope you enjoy the BBQ and I'll see you soon :)Read full article on Community Announcements (Rotorist)Patch NotesOfficial
